As part of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, the winning filmmakers are awarded mentorship meetings with active members of the entertainment industry. Cory Reeder won “Best Awareness Campaign” for the 2017 Challenge with his film ‘Best Friend’, and recently met with Tiffany Smith-Anoa’i, the VP of Entertainment Diversity & Communications at CBS Entertainment. Throughout her career, Tiffany has fought for underrepresented groups and their portrayal in the media, making her a great friend of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.

Writer/director/producer Cory Reeder has fostered his lifelong love of cinema by starting his own production company, Renaissance Man Productions. He is now among the most involved film challenge participants, and is an advocate for expanding the inclusion of underrepresented groups in film. He has entered a film into the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge for each of the past three years.
